How do I start the learning program?

It's simple, just go to the Virtual Learning page and click on the 'request availability' button. We will then send you available dates and a questionnaire in order to understand more about your photography background.

Do I need to be an advanced photographer to participate?

No - that's the great thing about this customised program. Modules can be chosen to suit all levels from beginners to advanced photographers

What type of camera is required?

Ideally you will own a good quality DSLR or mirrorless camera with 20mp or more, you should also have lenses that cover 24-200mm. Other requirements include - a solid tripod, a cable release and ND filters (for long exposure photography), Photoshop CC or Lightroom and of course access to Skype or Webex.

What type of photography do I need to specialise in?

For this program and due to the included modules, I can only offer a course for landscape, seascape and cityscape photographers.

Does it matter where I'm living?

This program is perfectly designed for all international photographers, so location doesn't matter. As long as you have a passion for photography, strong internet connection and speak good english that's all that matters.

What happens if I can't attend a session due to urgent commitments?

Sometimes life can be hectic and the unforeseen can happen - if its unavoidable, then we can reschedule the session that suits both parties. Ideally we must try to stick to all the pre-arranged timings so we can keep the course flowing.

Can more than one person join the remote learning sessions?

Sorry but no - As the program is specifically designed for the photographer who answered the questionnaire, then unfortunately only that person can attend the sessions. I only teach 3 photographers at any given time who will all have a separate schedule arranged.

Will I receive a certificate when I've finished the program?

Not on this course unfortunately. You will however have 6 take away tutorial videos, workbook lesson recaps and a digital portfolio of new work as well as all the knowledge shared throughout the course.

How many hours per week will I need to commit to?

It's flexible, but in order to get the best out of the learning program you must try to commit to 6 -10 hours per week. The more effort you put in the better the results will be.

What will the Final Evaluation include?

At the end of the program we evaluate your progress, examine the completed work and cover any last concerns you may have. We will also choose your best images and compose a digital portfolio.
