This photograph explores the challenges of long exposure photography on location in The Wash in North Norfolk where tides can advance extremely quickly. This image was taken in the hours before high tide and documents this movement of water over 2-3 minute exposures. It is loosely influenced by abstract art and watercolour painting. The message behind this series opens our eyes to the potential loss of these beautiful low lying fens if sea levels continue to rise. This would dramatically change coastlines globally and effect many nature reserves.
