SEASCAPE SIMPLICITY, ESSEX / SUFFOLK, UK
9th - 11th October 2020
Day 1 - We will meet just outside Ipswich at 12.00pm and check-in to the local accommodation. A team lunch in the hotel will give us the opportunity to run through the full itinerary of this long exposure workshop and allow others to get to know each other. After lunch we head to the coast where we start the process of shooting with Neutral Density filters and Anthony will offer invaluable advice in achieving the best results. We will explore 2 locations close to base and finish the day with a sunset shoot at Cobbolds Point.
Day 2 - We'll start the day with a sunrise shoot at Dovercourt Bay where there are a multitude of coastal compositions and subject opportunities which are ideal for long exposure photography, fingers crossed we get some colour! We then head north up the coast of Suffolk to East Lane and then onto the the infamous shingle beach where we will have plenty of space to find the most intimate and personal locations. After lunch and dependant on time, we will then explore Aldeburgh beach side town with its shingle beach, finishing boats, colourful beach-side houses and famous Scallop!
Day 3 - The final day will start with a sunrise shoot at either Southwold pier or Gunhill beach huts all dependant on weather conditions. We will then explore the immediate surrounding area, Benachre, Sizewell and Southwold. We then head back to the hotel.
